"The IsatPhone Pro is tailor-made for tough use. Rugged, splash and dust proof, and with long battery existence, it offers global service from day one. This may be the first satellite phone to be constructed for the Inmarsat network from the ground-up - responding to customer requirements - for use in harsh environments. The sat phones connect with the satellites and send information to other phones by means of the satellites. The satellites actually become the medium of data transmission for satellite mobile phones.
